Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and manage information and facts for client meetings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process applications and servicing matters, communicating with providers, clients, and professional parties such as accountants and solicitors.
  • Manage post-sale requirements, working to deadlines for both individual and corporate clients.
  • Utilize computer-based systems, including Iress Adviser Office, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as internet research.

Compliance and Technical Requirements:

  • Ensure client files and company records are compliant with FCA regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislation, taxation, trusts, regulation, technical, product, and provider changes.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of product types, including investments, pensions, protection, and mortgages.

Training and Development:

  • Continue private study to obtain the CII level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Complete internal training and testing in Data Protection, Complaints, Anti-Bribery, and Money Laundering.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training within the office, maintaining a good working knowledge of products and systems.

Requirements and Experience:

  • At least 4 GCSEs, including English and Maths, at grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Partial completion of the CII level 4 Diploma modules.
  • At least 2 years of IFA support experience, including use of a back-office system such as Iress or Intelliflo.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
