We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at The Solution Group Recruitment Ltd, specializing in structural and architectural steel in Kettering. About the Role:

As an Estimator, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimations for a range of structural and architectural steel projects. Your work will be essential in the success of tenders, ensuring that all costs are accounted for in a clear and concise way for clients. You will be working closely with clients and suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimations: Prepare and submit accurate, competitive estimations based on project specifications and drawings.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyse project drawings and requirements, factoring in all material, labour, and overhead costs to provide clear and concise proposals.
  • Supplier Coordination: Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate costings and up-to-date market rates.
  • Risk Identification: Identify potential risks within project scope and propose mitigations to ensure successful project delivery.
