About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Visiting Angels North Yorkshire West. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Registered Manager and the Company, ensuring the smooth running of the office.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the Registered Manager and the Company.
- Manage administrative duties, prioritizing tasks to maintain the office's efficiency.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Assist in the improvement and maintenance of the Company's standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in organizing and providing administrative assistance in an office environment (2 years).
- Experience in handling a wide range of enquiries from different stakeholders.
- Experience using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Xero, and Birdie.
- Experience in HR administration.
- Experience in Health and Social Care (Required).
- A working knowledge of health and safety, safeguarding, and data protection.
Qualifications:
- GCSE English & Maths (Required).
- Level 2 in Health and Social Care (preferred but training offered).
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Ability to understand and interpret company policies into requirements of own job role.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to form a cohesive team.
- Excellent word processing skills with the ability to draft correspondences.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake varied responsibilities as part of a close-knit team.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Calm and methodical.
- Professional and confidential approach.
- Satisfactory DBS check.
