About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our Children's Residential Services team. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our young people, while also supporting the development of our support workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet the needs of the children and young people in accordance with Ofsted regulations
  • Plan and manage team rotas to support the Deputy and Home Manager in various meetings and appointments
  • Assist the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
  • Carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
  • Supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
  • Welcome a diverse culture in the home
  • Create a safe, family environment for the children
Requirements
  • You must be 21 years old due to Ofsted regulations
  • Driving is essential due to the locations of the homes
  • You must have at least six months' experience in Children's residential care and a relevant Level 3 qualification is desirable
