Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Educator to join our team at our Barford Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to our children, while also contributing to the overall success of our nursery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the safety and well-being of children, while also maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, while also contributing to the growth and development of our team.

Requirements

  • Qualified to Level 2 or above in Early Years Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
