About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Power Electronics Specialist to join our team in a Defence company. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing power electronics systems, including power converters, motor drives, and electrical systems.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of power electronics, electrical systems, and converter topologies, as well as strong communication skills to produce detailed technical reports and collaborate with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing power electronics systems, including power converters, motor drives, and electrical systems.
  • Testing and validating power electronics systems to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with engineers to validate designs through testing and provide input on potential product improvements based on test outcomes.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 per annum, plus benefits package.
