Job Title: Childcare Support Specialist

Location: Cheshire West and Chester

Salary: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour

The role of a Childcare Support Specialist at Academics Ltd is to provide high-quality support to the daily operations of our nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and educational programs.
  • Support the daily routine of the nursery, including snack times, nap times, and outdoor play.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Observe and report on the individual progress and needs of the children.
  • Earn a competitive salary between £13.00 - £16.00 per hour.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with young children is preferred.
  • Relevant childcare qualifications or working towards one (e.g, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare).
  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
  • A positive, upbeat attitude and a willingness to learn.
