About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate EAP Counsellor to join our UK counselling team at Workplace Options. As a key member of our team, you will provide emotional support and guidance to individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, helping them navigate life's challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide short-term, solution-focused counselling to individuals via phone, video, and email, demonstrating a warm and empathetic approach.
  • Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring effective crisis management and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support services, including referrals to external resources and internal programmes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry trends.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Level 4 diploma in Counselling or a related field.
  • Full registration with a recognized counselling regulatory body (e.g., BACP, BPS, UKCP).
  • Experience in short-term counselling modalities, such as Solution-Focused, CBT, Mindfulness, and Integrative counselling.
  • Training in crisis intervention and high-risk client support is highly desirable.
  • Strong cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse client populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
