About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Sourcing Manager to join our team at Plexus. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between engineering and materials departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: Collaborate closely with Engineers and Project Managers to ensure design projects are completed within designated timeframes and budgets.
  • Quality Execution: Ensure team metric performance, adherence to existing processes, and responsible for staffing projects for success.
  • Strategic Growth: Supports continuous improvement, expands and grows group capabilities by hiring personnel, establishing and achieving group objectives, identifying and supporting training opportunities, and developing strategic roadmaps for further process development.
  • Business Development: Works collaboratively with the business development and project management team to effectively promote and sell Product Development Sourcing services, assists in creating collateral to promote team services in customer-facing meetings, and ensures proposals created by their team have well-bounded scope, adequate budget, and clear deliverables to ensure customer success.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is required.
  • Experience in custom mechanical or electromechanical components processing is highly desired.
  • A demonstrated level of project management success is preferred.
