Job Overview

Escape Recruitment Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our client's Industrial Engineering team. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop products and tooling to meet customer specifications, ensuring alignment with company capabilities and industry standards.
  • Produce high-quality drawings and documentation to support the design process, including detailed technical specifications and manufacturing instructions.
  • Recommend and implement system modifications to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
  • Compile detailed working manuals and records to facilitate smooth manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of products.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in an engineering business, preferably in a design or development role.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and other design tools.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software.
  • Highly organized, with a flexible approach to working and a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Goal-oriented, with a positive working attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
