We are currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our Engineering team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to influence our manufacturing processes and contribute to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary technical authority for manufacturing processes related to client products.
  • Address and resolve technical inquiries from clients effectively.
  • Facilitate discussions on design for manufacturability to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Assist clients in troubleshooting manufacturing-related issues.
  • Translate client specifications into actionable manufacturing strategies.
  • Identify and resolve product-related challenges promptly, developing effective recovery plans.
  • Establish and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and strategies.
  • Lead manufacturing readiness initiatives using the Product and Process Quality Planning (PPQP) framework.
  • Develop and maintain assembly process flows, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Product Control Plans.
  • Implement assembly setups and validation processes as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze production metrics to evaluate and improve performance.
  • Support the identification of root causes for inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production setting, particularly with electro-mechanical products.
  • Strong background in Continuous Improvement methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
  • Proficient in data analysis and systematic problem-solving approaches.
  • Experience in designing experiments and interpreting data effectively.
  • Ability to mentor and guide technical staff.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and lead projects.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, Visio, Solidworks, and relevant Plexus applications.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline is preferred.
