The Role

  • Design and develop products and tooling to meet customer specifications, ensuring alignment with company capabilities and industry standards.
  • Produce all required drawings and documentation to support the design process, including technical specifications and manufacturing instructions.
  • Recommend and implement system modifications to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
  • Compile detailed working manuals and records to facilitate smooth manufacturing operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including manufacturing, quality, and research and development, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve product design.

The Candidate

  • Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in an engineering business, preferably in a design or development role.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and other design tools.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Highly organized, with a flexible approach to working and a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Goal-oriented with a positive working attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
