About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corrections Officer to join our team at the Department of Corrections NZ.

As a Corrections Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and wellbeing of individuals serving sentences or on remand.

Your responsibilities will include inducting new prisoners into their unit, helping them navigate life in prison, and supervising daily routines.

The ideal candidate will possess solid interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate clearly, operate with high levels of integrity, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

The estimated salary for this role is $NZD 65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
