Nurse Practitioner Lead Job Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner Lead to join our team at Urgent Nursing in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and improving clinical services, ensuring high standards of care, and participating in quality improvement initiatives and service development projects.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior staff, including nursing staff and students, and collaborating with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. They will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing clinical knowledge and expertise through ongoing professional development.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Take a leadership role in managing and improving clinical services, ensuring high standards of care
* Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and service development projects
* Contribute to the development of clinical protocols, guidelines, and policies
* Lead and mentor junior staff, including nursing staff and students

**Requirements:**

* Registered Nurse with a current license to practice
* Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing or equivalent advanced clinical qualification
* Significant experience (typically 3+ years) in a clinical nursing role, with a focus on primary care
* Ability to lead and mentor junior staff, including nursing staff and students

Estimated salary: £65,000 - £90,000 per annum
