Main Duties
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in neonatal intensive care and will be able to demonstrate leadership skills in a supervisory/team leader context. Key responsibilities include acting as a professional role model, leading and co-ordinating the nursing team, and ensuring a high standard of nursing care and the well-being of patients at all times.
Clinical Practice
You will work in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and Trust Policies and Procedures. As an expert in the care of neonates/infants, you will provide effective leadership and act as a positive role model. You will also communicate effectively with patients, their parents/carers, and all healthcare personnel, promoting a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to care and ensuring continuity of care.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must be a registered nurse with a formal qualification in mentorship or equivalent. You should also have current NALs certificate or willingness to undertake. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate continuing professional development and commitment to the professional development of others. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt to changing situations and environments.
