The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and driving new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts within the designated sales territory. You will be an integral part of our Sales team and will work closely with our VP of Global Accounts and other departments to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Articulate the value of SelectScience to key decision makers and navigate the sales cycle effectively.
- Use a diverse range of strategies to prospect, qualify, and win new business opportunities, leveraging your clinical acumen and understanding.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and ensure accurate forecasting to drive business growth and meet targets.
- Drive the closure of new business deals and effectively manage, retain, and develop existing business.
- Facilitate and coordinate sponsor interactions with other departments within the company.
- Provide a consultative approach and develop tailored proposals to create opportunities.
- Achieve annual sales targets and monthly quotas, providing regular sales forecasts and updates.
- Maintain up-to-date records in SalesForce and identify opportunities for upselling services.
- 6/7 years of previous B2B sales experience in a consultative, commercial environment.
- Experience and knowledge of the clinical industry.
- Proven experience of achieving targets and developing accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage own time and prioritize tasks autonomously.
- Proficiency in national travel logistics and accustomed to managing travel arrangements efficiently.
- Strong competency in using Microsoft Office suite and CRM system.
