At Teledyne FLIR, we're seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our UK Sales department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering sales goals and targets to a diverse range of customers in the marine electronics market.

As a world leader in high-performance marine electronics, Raymarine offers a wide range of innovative products that enhance the boating experience. Your primary objective will be to maintain excellent client relationships with existing OEMs, Dealers, and Retailers, while developing new relationships with emerging customers in the UK & Ireland region.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a deep understanding of our products' functionality and how they can improve customers' boating experiences. You'll also need to be skilled at building relationships, knowledgeable about boats and our products, and able to gain the necessary trust with customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a sales plan for Retail, OEM, and Service Dealers
  • Identifying and creating new sales opportunities for dealers and consumers not currently using Raymarine products
  • Developing an effective distribution network through dealers to allow Raymarine products' rapid and economical delivery to customers in the territory
  • Visiting trade customers within the regions regularly to ensure dealers are promoting our products and offering an effective service to the end user
  • Completing and sending regular Sales Activity Reports to the UK Sales Manager
  • Coordinating promotions and point of sale in different channels
  • Responding to customer queries via phone and email
  • Assessing the competition in sales channels, collecting price, promotion, and Point of Sale data
  • Assisting with the setup and manning of trade events/boat shows throughout the year
  • Assisting with any other 'ad hoc' work as required by the department

We're looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent customer service skills, experience from a sales or service role, and fluency in English, both verbal and written. A full manual driving license is essential, and channel sales experience, including B2B & B2C, preferably in marine markets, would be an advantage.
