Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Histopathology Biomedical Scientist to fill the role of Team Manager within our Cellular Pathology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage laboratory huddles and management meetings
  • Support training, staff management, and staff development
  • Quality assurance, audit, and other aspects of clinical governance

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Histopathology
  • Leadership, organisational, quality management, and training skills
  • HCPC registration and SCQF level 11 education

Working Environment:

The post is based within Cellular Pathology (Histopathology) and involves working with a team of experienced professionals. The department is UKAS accredited and has a combined workload of over 62,000 requests annually.
