What you'll be doing:

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sales professional in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning field. As a sales engineer, you will report to our Reading branch and focus on business growth. You will use your expertise and people skills to secure new clients and maintain existing relationships, including regular site visits.

Our Reading branch serves a wide range of clients, from retail to pharmaceutical companies. As a sales engineer, you will provide these clients with expert advice and assist in the design of HVAC systems according to client specifications, providing quotes and closing deals.

What do you need to have?

  • Proven sales background in refrigeration, air conditioning, chillers, and/or AHUs
  • Customer relationship management experience within the industry
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of a wide range of systems
  • High financial and commercial awareness with the ability to manage large budgets and resources
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to forge strong business relationships with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and contractors
  • A thorough understanding of and ability to deliver outstanding and continuous customer service
  • Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office 365
  • Due to safeguarding requirements, we complete confidential criminal record checks on all roles that attend customer sites. If you are successful, you will be required to complete an Advanced DBS Check with Barred Lists check. We strictly follow the DBS Code of practice and comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
