Pear Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Estate/Block Manager to join their prestigious Estate Agency team. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of estates, comprising 350-400 units, and serving as the primary point of contact for freeholders and directors. Key responsibilities include attending Annual General Meetings, collaborating with contractors and surveyors, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in estate management, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in property management software. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of estates, serving as the main point of contact for freeholders and directors.
  2. Attend Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and budget meetings, presenting reports and providing insights.
  3. Collaborate with contractors, surveyors, and other professionals to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
  4. Oversee the day-to-day running of estates, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
  5. Issue Section 20 notices in compliance with relevant regulations.
  6. Ensure that all estates adhere to current Health and Safety Regulations.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of estate management activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in estate management, property management, or a related field – 2+ years
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  3. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Knowledge of leasehold and freehold property management practices.
  6. Familiarity with Section 20 notices and Health and Safety Regulations.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
