We are seeking an experienced Civil and Structural Engineer to join our dynamic design consultancy in Cheshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects across various sectors, utilizing your expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement engineering solutions.
  • Utilize your experience to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Prepare structural designs using relevant software or by hand calculation where appropriate.
  • Prepare technical drawings.
  • Meet with clients to discuss prospective and current projects.
  • Conduct site visits to carry out relevant visual inspections and measured surveys.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Assist with day-to-day management of construction projects being carried out by our affiliated company JLF Developments Ltd.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in a design office environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Ideally, hold a professional qualification with either the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
  • Experience using relevant design software, preferably Tekla TEDDS and Tekla Structural Designer.
  • Proficient in preparing technical drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication skills and the desire to build good relationships with clients, consultants, and team members.
  • Good writing skills and experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to communicate technical details effectively.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and milestones with great time management.
  • A full driving license and the ability to travel to site meetings across the UK.
