**The Ideal Candidate:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Brimscombe C of E Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to provide high-quality support to students in Year 4/5.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who require additional support, particularly those with social communication and interaction needs. You will be responsible for supporting the student on a one-to-one basis during lessons and also assisting the class teacher in delivering small group work.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide one-to-one support to a student with social communication and interaction needs
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering small group work
  • Support the student during lessons, including reading, writing, and mathematics activities
  • Communicate with parents and other professionals as required

**Requirements:**

  • Experience working with children who require additional support, particularly those with social communication and interaction needs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances

**Estimated Salary:** £27,269 – £28,624 per annum pro rata (depending on experience)
