Job Title: Primary School Learning Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Primary School Learning Support Specialist to join our team at a primary school near Stroud. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to provide high-quality support to children in the resource base.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will deliver targeted group interventions and work one-to-one with children when directed.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted group interventions to students with Autism
  • Support children in the resource base on a one-to-one basis when directed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with Autism
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills
  • High levels of resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to use initiative and work effectively as part of a team
