Job Overview:

Nuffield Health The Manor Hospital seeks a Laboratory Operations Specialist to deliver exceptional care and maintain high standards of service in our modern pathology laboratory.

About the Role:
  • Work competently across various laboratory sections, contributing to histology section production for microscopic examination.
  • Prepare staining solutions and reagents, ensuring adequate stocks are maintained.
  • Promote efficient and safe consumable and equipment use within working areas.
  • Participate in internal quality control and external quality assurance procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with clinicians, laboratory, and clinical staff regarding samples, test appropriateness, result provision, etc.
  • Maintain professional competence in all tests and investigations conducted in the laboratory.
Requirements:
  • Active HCPC registration is mandatory.
  • Strong organisational skills and proficiency in IT are essential.
  • Familiarity with health and safety protocols in laboratory settings is necessary.
Salary:

£34,000 (DOE) per annum.
