Job Description:

Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at Windowstore. As a key member of our branch management team, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability, assisting the Branch Manager in achieving their objectives, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Branch Manager in achieving sales and profitability targets
  • Drive sales and customer engagement through effective communication and relationship-building
  • Manage cash, banking, and payment schemes in accordance with company procedures and policies
  • Liaise with suppliers, merchandisers, and other partners to ensure seamless operations
  • Report on sales, costs, and business performance to inform strategic decisions
  • Manage daily delivery and dispatch processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery
  • Enter invoices, sales orders, and credit notes into the system within set timeframes
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards in line with current legislation
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the branch
  • Manage colleagues and build strong customer relationships

Requirements:

  • Excellent sales, communication, and organizational skills
  • Firm understanding of what makes for a superior customer experience
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • PC literate
  • Previous sales experience in a branch (Trade Counter) environment
  • Knowledge and experience within the UPVC window, cellular, and composite door or wider construction industries
  • A full UK driving license
