About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Member to join our team at the British Red Cross. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Mobility Aids Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the team to receive, record, clean, maintain, and pick equipment for distribution in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the stores, adhering to company requirements.
  • Provide support to other team members, ensuring the operation meets customer expectations, contractual arrangements, service levels, and company requirements while delivering target profitability.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A basic level of IT proficiency, with the ability to learn and operate an online stock management system.
  • A good level of general fitness, with the ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 25kg.
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
