Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Company Overview: The Supply Register provides managed services to multiple academy trusts in Devon and Cornwall, offering temporary staffing solutions for schools.

Position Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to provide support to students across various age groups and abilities. Your role will involve assisting with lesson delivery, providing individualized support to students, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist classroom teachers with the delivery of lessons and activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance with their learning.
  • Support students with special educational needs by implementing individualized education plans and accommodations.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other support professionals.

Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is preferred. Qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education are beneficial.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
