Okehampton, Devon, United Kingdom West Fishleigh Farm Full time
About Us
We are a reputable healthcare group with a team of dedicated and professional staff. We provide reliable services for adults aged 20-45 who have learning difficulties. Our mission is to support individuals with complex needs, including Autistic Spectrum Condition and Learning Disability, to live their best possible life.

We specialize in supporting adults with mild Learning disabilities at our Devon base supported living service. Our residents require assistance with personal care and daily activities, and we encourage them to engage in community activities, such as cinema or theatre visits. Our goal is to support our clients to develop their key skills, become independent, and make informed decisions while living in our home.

The Role
This role involves providing day-to-day support to our residents in the home and in the community. This may include assisting with morning routines, taking residents to activities, helping with shopping, cooking, or cleaning. You will build strong relationships with our residents, professionals, and families, and help each individual to find further independence and confidence throughout adulthood. You will also participate in fun activities, such as long walks and outdoor educational trips.

The job entails supporting adults in developing key skills and continuing to thrive in life. You will work weekends and evenings as part of our supportive team. Our existing team members are passionate, dedicated, motivated, and committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for colleagues and residents alike.

As a Support Worker, you will be required to hold a full UK driving license and have previous experience in a similar role. In return for your hard work, we offer a range of benefits, including a refer-a-friend payment scheme, opportunities to progress through our career paths, free training to enhance your skills, and access to employee health and wellbeing programs.
