Job Summary
The Operating Department Practitioner will be responsible for assessing care needs and developing programmes of care, as well as implementing and evaluating these programmes to ensure high-quality care delivery to patients.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, where you will have the chance to work with a diverse population and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient care needs and develop programmes of care
- Implement and evaluate care programmes to ensure high-quality care delivery
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes
- Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care policies and procedures
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
- SVQIII in Operating Department Practice or Diploma in Operating Department Practice
- Excellent team working and communication skills
- Ability to work using own initiative and prioritise tasks effectively
- Working knowledge of basic information technology
