Claims Resolution Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team at AIG. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for handling and investigating third-party motor claims, including personal injury claims, third-party property damage, and credit hire claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and investigate all claims within the limit of authority in accordance with company standards and procedures.
- Take proactive steps to effectively deal with claimants and their representatives to achieve the best outcome for the claim.
- Contribute to ensuring the Department's Key Performance Targets are met and that own objectives are achieved.
Requirements
- Proven experience in handling third-party motor claims, including personal injury claims, third-party property damage, and credit hire claims.
- Good understanding of end-to-end claims procedures and knowledge of using claims systems, including MOJ & OIC portals.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in managing various stakeholders, including customers, panel lawyers, and brokers.
- Detailed working knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment within which such motor claims are handled.
