About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team at AIG. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for handling third-party motor claims, including personal injury claims, third-party property damage, and credit hire claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve claims within the limit of authority, adhering to company standards and procedures.
- Take proactive steps to effectively deal with claimants and their representatives, ensuring the best outcome for the claim.
- Contribute to meeting the Department's Key Performance Targets and achieving personal objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in handling third-party motor claims, including personal injury claims, third-party property damage, and credit hire claims.
- Good understanding of end-to-end claims procedures and knowledge of claims systems, including MOJ & OIC portals.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for managing various stakeholders, including customers, panel lawyers, and brokers.
- Detailed working knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment for motor claims.
