Supplier Relationship Manager - Professional Services

At Bupa, we're seeking an experienced Supplier Relationship Manager to drive the strategic management of vendor interactions. This key role will ensure service delivery meets our high standards of quality, operational resilience, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Onboard suppliers post contract, managing them against the Supplier Management Framework.
  2. Lead governance review meetings with strategic suppliers to review performance against contract.
  3. Own and manage supplier risk profile to manage and mitigate supply chain risks.
  4. Resolve operational and service incidents by undertaking root cause analysis and implementing processes where necessary.
  5. Drive the strategy of the category (professional services), collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive innovation, efficiencies, and business development opportunities.
  6. Develop and maintain plans to prioritise and implement continuous improvement in terms of service, cost, risk, and flexibility.
  7. Initiate and develop action plans to remedy poor supplier performance and manage these plans to successful conclusion.
  8. Provide regular Management Information reports and updates to business stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in contract supplier management, ideally across Professional Services.
  2. Good understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance activities.
  3. Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships at all levels.
