We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Programme Performance Specialist in our Birmingham office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering expert-level delay analysis and possess a strong working knowledge of common planning software.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Delay Analysts, developing new dispute work, and progressing towards delay expert status. They will also analyse project and programme performance, identify root causes of distress, and develop a contract and commercial strategy to recover performance of distressed projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Delay team to prepare analysis and expert reports.
  • Deliver expert delay and forensic planning services in line with client briefs.
  • Analyse project and programme performance, identifying root causes of distress.
  • Develop a contract and commercial strategy to recover performance of distressed projects.
  • Critically analyse Client claims and provide strategic advice.
  • Provide effective stakeholder management and coach delay analysis teams.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in delay, planning, and construction industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of common planning software.
  • Experience contributing to expert report writing and delivering services to satisfied clients.
  • Established profile with construction industry solicitors and contractors.
  • Degree level education in a construction-related field or similar equivalent qualification.
