Pertemps Stoke: Transport Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Transport Administrator to join our client in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This role offers a great chance to be part of a dynamic team at the heart of operations.

The position involves covering night shifts, but flexibility to cover day shifts is required. Key responsibilities include:

Main Duties:
  • Ensuring accurate completion of inbound and outbound paperwork
  • Managing administrative and filing tasks
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve individual and collective goals
  • Staying up-to-date with transport legislation
  • Scheduling transportation services, planning routes, and assigning drivers

Requirements for this role include:

Essential Skills:
  • Previous experience in a transport office environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and process management skills
  • Proficiency in IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

  • Salary: Competitive rate with night shift allowance
  • Working Hours: Typically Monday to Friday, nights (flexibility to cover day shifts required)
  • Location: Stoke-on-Trent, ST4
  • Duration: Temporary ongoing
