About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Language Specialist to join our team at Protocol Education. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students of varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that foster a love for literature and language among students.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth.
  • Support and mentor students, fostering their academic and personal development, and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience at Protocol Education, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in English or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary school level, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements, with the ability to adapt to changing educational landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
