About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team that works closely with GP practices, NHS Talking Therapies, and community mental health services to provide comprehensive care for service users. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with clients, providing assessment and therapy, as well as joint working, training, and supervision for the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT).

The successful candidate will have experience in working with various mental health difficulties, including complex trauma, psychosis, interpersonal issues, and self-harm. You will also have significant post-qualification experience in an area relevant to the service and job role outlined in the job summary, including risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality, clinically adapted psychology/psychotherapy services to service users aged 17+.
  • To work autonomously, making independent decisions, using professional guidelines and trust policies.
  • To offer advice and consultation on service users' psychological care to clinical colleagues and non-professional carers.
Person Specification

We are seeking candidates with doctoral-level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (HCPC registration), or equivalent prior to 1996, and additional significant post-qualification training relevant to the service and job role.

Salary and Benefits

This full-time equivalent role carries a salary of approximately £42,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including flexible working, remote work options, employee wellbeing support, and exclusive discounts.
