Job Title: CAMHS Occupational Therapist

We are currently looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our CAMHS service in Leeds. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and adolescents.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team supporting specialist CAMHS and acute units. You will work closely with consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, nursing colleagues, and the therapy services manager to deliver high-quality care.

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Estimated Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 GBP per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description

You will be responsible for assessing and intervening in cases involving mental health issues. Your primary goal will be to help patients regain control over their lives and develop coping strategies. In addition, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans are implemented.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build trust and rapport with patients and colleagues alike. Furthermore, you should have a valid DBS certificate and registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
