This food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Engineering Compliance Manager to join their team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the site's compliance with all legal, statutory, health and safety, and food standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the engineering department/site is compliant in all legal, statutory, health & safety, and food safety areas.
- Manage suppliers/contractors.
- Maintain detailed records of all compliance areas.
- Manage the facility department covering all aspects of refrigeration, steam, effluent, and water.
- Work with the team to review all planned works and planned preventative maintenance tasks for effectiveness covering all H&S, food safety, and reliability issues.
- Drive all CI project/initiatives.
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally apprentice trained.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to communicate to all levels within the business.
- Strong planning and organising ability.
- Financial awareness to manage various budgets.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of Pirana and SAP.
- Basic salary of GBP55,000 pa.
- Monday - Friday working pattern.
