Job Description

Behaviour Specialist Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Specialist to join our client school in Brent. As a Behaviour Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting students with their behaviour and mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the internal isolation room
  • Provide structured supervision for students
  • Support therapists and psychologists in their work
  • Act as a mentor and guidance counsellor to students
  • Write reports on student progress
  • Manage student behaviour using psychological knowledge
  • Report back to the Senior Leadership Team and Pastoral Team

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Strong passion for working with students on their academia and mental health
  • Enthusiasm and creativity to inspire children with learning
  • Ability to write cogently and fluently
  • Patience, kindness, flexibility, and good humour
  • Professional attitude and approach to work
