Job Details

The Innovation Research Associate will collaborate with colleagues in the Trust across several departments, starting with Estates and Facilities, and with University-based research groups and networks. The project focuses on designing and implementing an Innovation and Leadership Programme (ILP) within the Estates and Facilities (E&F) division, piloting innovation capability building in the Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement an ILP within the E&F division, focusing on innovation capability building.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues in the Trust across several departments, including Estates and Facilities, and with University-based research groups and networks.
  3. Foster a strategic, entrepreneurial, collaborative, and proactive environment that emphasizes care for both people and the environment.

Requirements:

  • A first degree or master's in industrial design, Service Design, Design Engineering, Innovation, or Biomedical Design Innovation (1st or 2:1).
  • Strong knowledge of project management and leadership styles.
  • Advanced digital skills in rendering presentations, product and service concepts, process changes, and system design.

What We Offer:

  • £38,000-44,000 salary dependent on experience.
  • 27 days' annual leave, plus 8 days' Bank Holidays.
  • Normal working hours per week are 37.5 hrs, inclusive of 30 mins lunch break.
