Job Title: Senior Fall Protection Systems Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fall Protection Systems Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional results in the fall protection systems sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage multiple projects for a range of fall protection systems, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
  2. Develop and implement job packs for installations and service, including load lists, RAMS, and safe work systems.
  3. Provide marked up drawings to ensure installations are completed accurately and to the required standards.
  4. Liaise with clients to provide excellent customer service, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Conduct site visits for quality checks and audits, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  6. Manage stock levels and ensure all installers have the necessary stock/equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  7. Lead a team of circa 30 Site Technicians, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  8. Resolve onsite issues in a timely and professional manner, minimizing disruptions and ensuring continuity of work.
  9. Oversee projects ranging in value from £10,000 to £300,000, ensuring effective budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in contracts/project/site management within the construction industry, with a focus on fall protection systems.
  2. Consideration for Site Supervisors/Foreman looking to step up to a leadership role.
  3. Experience within the building envelope or related market sectors, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  4. NEBOSH/IOSH qualified or willing to acquire, demonstrating a commitment to health and safety best practices.
  5. Comfortable working at height, with a strong emphasis on safety and risk management.
  6. IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  7. Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of Site Technicians.
  8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  9. Resilience to deal with any issues that may arise, maintaining a professional demeanor and approach under pressure.
