About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Event Staff to join our team on a casual basis at Coventry Building Society Arena. As an Event Staff member, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience for every event attended at the arena.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all customers, other staff members, and yourself.
- Control access and egress to the site.
- Respond to and report incidents as they occur, including ejecting unsuitable individuals.
- Search bags and the public upon arrival where necessary.
- Monitor crowd safety and behavior.
- Perform safety checks.
- Direct customers to achieve an even flow of people to and from the venue.
- Assist in the safe operation of the venue.
- Staff entrances, exits, and other strategic points.
- Recognize crowd conditions to prevent overcrowding.
- Assist customers and emergency services in emergencies.
- Respond to emergencies, raise the alarm, and take immediate action.
- Undertake specific duties in emergencies or as directed.
- Provide basic emergency first aid.
- Perform other duties deemed reasonable for the role.
- Hold a valid SIA License.
