About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Public Sector audit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple audit engagements, working closely with clients, and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit engagements from planning to finalization, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including senior-level staff and partners.
  • Oversee and develop audit teams, providing guidance and coaching to ensure their growth and success.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ACA/CA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Prior experience as an Audit Assistant Manager or Manager, with a strong background in Public Sector audit.
  • Technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102, and Companies Act.
  • Experience in leading external audits, managing a portfolio of clients, and leading audit teams.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate team members.
