Join Our Team as a SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire People Limited. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in a variety of educational settings across Burton and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils in the classroom, small groups, and one-to-one settings
  • Use positive reinforcement techniques and behaviour-based instruction to promote learning and development
  • Follow individualised support plans to help pupils achieve their full potential
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, marking, and delivery
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications, such as Level 2 or 3 in Childhood Studies or a Teaching Assistant course
  • Experience working with children with special needs in a school or educational setting
  • Additional SEN training certificates, such as MAPA, Makaton, or Team Teach
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with extra needs
