About The Role
Where delivering exceptional care gives a greater sense of pride
As our Infection Control Nurse, you will ensure the effective coordination, delivery, and reporting of infection control and quality assurance within The Practice Plus Group Hospital Birmingham. You will manage all mandatory, statutory, and other infection control-related training activities, developing and delivering standard programs, coordinating regulatory registers, and managing external providers as appropriate to ensure that the hospital meets its statutory training responsibilities for its staff.
You will be working 3 days a week, 22.5 hours per week, in a dynamic environment that values excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Provide training and education to staff on infection control best practices
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of care
- Monitor and report on infection control metrics and trends
