About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Integrated Mental Health and Substance Misuse Team at HMP Stoke Heath. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care to individuals in custody.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based interventions and assessments to individuals in custody.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans using the Care Programme Approach.
  • Facilitate therapeutic group work and deliver evidenced-based interventions.
  • Identify individuals requiring hospital treatment and facilitate timely transfers under the Mental Health Act.
  • Line manage Band 5 nurses where applicable.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification.
  • Recent CPD and compliance with NMC revalidation.
  • Considerable experience in the mental health field, including providing specialist interventions and supervision.
