About the role
As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on others' lives. You'll be responsible for supplying prescriptions, delivering NHS and Private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers. You'll also play an active role in our charities support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supply prescriptions and deliver NHS and Private services
  • Provide healthcare advice to customers
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy Degree
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
  • DBS check (organised by us)
