Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About Milestone Education:
Milestone Education is a family-owned SME located in Birmingham Business Park, specialising in education services including recruitment, training, and wellbeing. With a turnover in excess of £5 million and a team of 20+ dedicated professionals, the company continues to evolve, providing excellent services to its clients. Payroll is outsourced, and the business utilises an invoice discount facility to support ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts & Financial Reporting
* Production of management accounts - producing monthly P&L and balance sheet, posting all journals accordingly
* Management information - Produce weekly reports to support informed business decisions and provide relevant analysis and insights
* Balance sheet reconciliations - perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
* Ledger Management
* Oversee all ledgers and financial processes
* Purchase ledger - posting all purchase invoices and production of payment run files
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data

* Support the expansion of the business by managing financial systems effectively
Strong organisational and self-management skills
* Ability to produce accurate financial data and insightful analysis
