Financial Manager - About the Role

The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations within a project-focused environment.   • Provide financial leadership and guidance on all aspects of project financial management.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for construction projects.
  • Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes and optimise project performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment on financial strategies and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on project financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure that the projects are adhering to the budget with full awareness of the commercial and service level agreements being met by sub-contractors.
  • Develop the financial controls within the project finance team to ensure that the objectives are being met.

The Successful Financial Manager Will Have:
  • CIMA / ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.
  • Experience of working within either engineering, oil & gas, construction, or engineering.
  • Proven experience in commercial finance management, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
  • Experience of working within a project forecasting environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
