Lead Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Principal Mechanical Engineer. This role will be responsible for leading the mechanical engineering support team, providing technical assurance and managing maintenance and inspection activities.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in leading teams and managing complex projects. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the mechanical engineering support team, providing technical assurance and managing maintenance and inspection activities.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure optimal plant availability and performance.
- Work closely with the production unit manager to translate engineering strategy into specific production unit delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the production unit team.
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including car allowance, 10% pension, and 15% bonus.
